Finally my thoughts on this......

This is my first blog on this site and I wasnt for sure how I wanted to start it,then it hit me like a ton of bicks early this morning. Why did I join a group like this? Well, let me say it's to suport my cousin in his cause and to help people become aware. Now,I myself get tested once a year when I get my girly checkups and I try to tell everyone to do so themseleves. This really has never been an issue for me.But this is the first time I've actually spoken up on the subject.You see,I was very young when I found out my cousin had tested positive. Actually, I really dont remember how old I was because for some reason,our family kept it quiet. Like he didnt need our support and understanding.That must have been pretty hard for him. My aunt just reacently admitted it to me! I'm 31 years old! I dont know why they kept it in the dark. I use to have questions for my cuz,but was to afraid to ask,but now I dont think those questions matter. What matters to me now,is that he's happy,healthy and loved with lots of suport!!! This is something near and dear to me and you never really know that it is until it hits close to home. So, I plan on doing all can to show my support and so should you!!
